For a long time, I wondered why I couldn’t think or speak as quickly as others in meetings or conversations. I’d see peers fire off brilliant thoughts on the spot and would immediately feel stuck, slow, or somehow less prepared. But discovering my learning style changed the way I saw myself and helped me finally appreciate my own gifts.

As an INFJ-Visual learner, I’ve come to understand that my strength isn’t in speed, it’s in depth. I process the world through intuition and emotion, and while that takes time, what I offer is thoughtful, resonant, and intentional. I’ve learned that my need for reflection isn’t a weakness, it’s wisdom in motion.

The way you learn isn’t something to fix, it’s something to honor.

When I finally stopped trying to keep up with other people’s rhythms and started creating space for my own, I felt more confident, connected, and aligned. I no longer feel the need to push myself to be louder, faster, or more reactive. Instead, I’ve built tools and practices around the truth of how I learn best, and that shift has helped me grow, relate, and rise with more authenticity and impact than ever before.
